The Agalyk Loop, Uzbekistan Navigation Package

This download pack contains a ZIP file with the GPS route (.gpx format) and over 30 waypoints on the Agalyk Loop marking water sources, navigation aids, shepherds, and campsites. There is also a PDF and a .docx file with the offline step by step navigation directions.

Please remember that even with this information at your disposal, including the GPS Navigation Package, you are ultimately the only one responsible for your safety in the backcountry. Small mistakes can compound, mountain weather can be extreme and unpredictable, and a minor injury here could leave you stranded with no way to call for help. (We always carry a satellite messenger for this reason, but don't expect an official search and rescue party in Uzbekistan.) Always get updated local information for the weather and mountain conditions before you hike and be safe out there!
